SA Sugarberry

Dark Silver Grey, 119790, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Other/Unknown

Sugarberry, Sugarberry, Sugarberry! How do you put a price on one of your original girls? Sugarberry has produced quality cria year after year and reminds us of how special she is. She is a conformationally sound, dark silver gray with consistent color. Her cria also tend to show solid blankets. Sugarberry is known for effortlessly birthing large, healthy cria without any assistance...she set our farm record with a 23 pounder! She is a strong gray/black producer and continues to breed and birth without issue. Her fiber shows the test of time but her quality is evident in her offspring. Sugarberry is tried and true; a delightful alpaca to handle, and predictable producer.

  Lazy's Phoenix
    Light Fawn, 1444698, 1/4 Bolivian, 1/4 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

NEW PHOTOS: Phoenix with his Alpaca Maturity banner, recognizing longevity of fleece quality. He is 6 years of age with loads of breeding experience without the tragic fiber deterioration. We are not producing "one hit wonders" here! Pictured are a only a few of his 2009 crias show his color flexibility. Oh, and they've got fleece to make their sire proud!

This gorgeous fawn male not only looks good, but he feels even better! This Caligula grandson and full brother to our own Chaos, has us very excited and anxious for another birthing season. Phoenix allows for immediate improvement on any female. Phoenix matches browns and fawns, pulls rose gray out of "true" grays, and has even gone light when bred to white. He has large bone structure, and the most consistent crimp and color you'll see. Then, when you part his dense fiber, it splits to his solid fawn skin and shines like a new penny. Check out his latest shows...he's improving with age. Phoenix may be our best her

This young male is tough to consider parting with...He is a Chaos son out of one of our best and longest producing gray dams, SA Sugarberry. We are looking to prove him this season as a Junior Herdsire but are challenged with finding him a role here at Lazy Acre Alpacas. He is preceeded by his sire and uncle (Phoenix) but carries the genetics of a very valuable and loved dam. He has the structure and density you would expect out of Chaos but carries a serious punch of color on his dam's side. If you want Caligula lines with the option of color, look twice at Serviceberry.
