| | | Another Girl! Another beauty! Dare I say "four in a row?" And out of Michelangelo. As all of Athena's cria, she is up, bouncing and dancing around everyone else in the pasture. She's a another brown beauty who will be named "Social Whirl."
We purchased Athena as a juvenile to be part of our foundation herd. She is a half sister to Royal Peruvian Apollo and Hobby Horse's Black Epic.
When bred to Nishio she gave us a MF girl who won blue ribbons and championships. Bred to BRF's "Bob" Athena gave us a DSG female with a solid grey blanket and bred to SSF Sinbad we got DB beauty whose fleece was described by a judge as "the most supple and finest fleece" he had felt so far that day.
Athena is an easy birther, a good mother and gets along with the rest of the herd. Just an all around beauty and now bred to another champion! | |

| | | Michelangelo is perhaps one of the country's best-known and loved herdsires of this time. He has taken many Get of Sire awards, and has been the Light Extreme Progeny Herdsire of the Year for the past two years. He is a full Accoyo beige son of El Nino (Caligula's best son), who had a 16.3 micron fleece at one year! Dr. Norman Evans did a skin biopsy in the fall of 2005, and according to his results, Michelangelo's density is absolutely unmatched (S/P Ratio of 13.28/1 and follicle density an amazing 107 follicles per sq/mm)! One of the softest AND densest fleeces I've ever had the pleasure to touch! Multiple champion and blue ribbon winner in fleece and halter! Michelangelo had confirmed pregnancies at 22 months, and to date has many healthy CHAMPION offspring on the ground (including ROSE GREY, SILVER GREY, medium brown, light fawn, beige and white! His offspring took blues in both juvenile white male AND female classes at AOBA Nationals, and a grey took a blue at the Futur | |
