LondonDairy Fawntastic

Light Fawn, 848414, 1/2 Chilean, 3/8 Peruvian, 1/8 Other/Unknown

Fawntastic has very fine fleece with vicuna style crimp structure. Her 2005 micron count of 20.5 and 2006 micron count of 23 are very favorable for any breeding program. Her fineness is her greatest assset and is a major component to fleece appreciation. Each of her crias has continued to show her fine micron count, but all show much greater density and bolder crimp style. With black in her background she may be able to produce a black cria with unusual fineness.

  Snowmass Royal Star
    Medium Fawn, 840874, Full Peruvian

Last summer Dr. Norman Evans performed follicle density testing on Royal Star and his results were very favorable. Royal Star falls into the top 5% of all of these high quality males that are tested with an S:P ratio of 11.4 to 1 and a density of 54.5 follicles/SQmm.

Snowmass Royal Star is the product of a Multi-Champion Snowmass herdsire extraordinaire, Snowmass Royal Rose. Snowmass Royal Star was choosen to show off his lineage's incredible qualities at the Snowmass Making of Champions auction. He had been kept for Snowmass' Elite end breeding program and has bred his first females there. His paternal & maternal lines include ACCOYO Vengador, Hemingway & Bueno. He has a very high frequency Merino/Vicuna style fleece.

Oskar has beautiful fiber. He has a long staple length, good brightness and lovely fine crimp. He maintains an exceptional fineness for a gelding of his age and would make a lovely companion animal for any fiber artist. His fineness continues to produce quality handspinning fiber.
