Cassia is a medium fawn color champion out of Pperuvian Miquel and Dr. Dick Walker's SuperSuri's breeding program. Her micron test report of 10/04 (1.5 years old) was 18.6 microns, 3.8 SD, 20.4% CV and with a comfort factor of 99%. At 3 years her micron tested 18.0, so we can only guess how good that first fleece actually was. At over 4 years old she still produces a gorgeous 19 micron blanket. She has excellent conformation, premier suri luster, solid substance, and champion presence and stature.
Cassia's first cria is a 2-time Champion and blue ribbon winner at Nationals. Her second cria is our gorgeous male, Captain's Orders. He took a second at his first show at 7 months old, but had to be pulled later on from our show string due to stress. At shearing, his micron test report of 14.4 is jaw-dropping. She then delivered Captain's Savvy, a beautiful brown female amd another showstopper. Another girl followed! a beautiful maroon female with black points out of our WLK Ste
FUTURITY AND NATIONAL CHAMPION, NOW PRODUCING FUTURITY AND NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! This stud continues to produce phenomenal champions and multi-champions for us. As of the spring of 2010 with his first offspring just hitting the show ring 2 years ago, his progeny have racked up 32 Color Champions and 17 Reserve Champions (including Futurity and National championships), 75 1sts and 25 2nds - I'll stop there, plus 5 1sts in Get of Sire and several other individual Bred & Owned production class wins. One of his daughters out of our program this year was Futurity and National Color Champion and went on to be named National Judges Choice Best Suri Female.
MacGyver's Armed & Dangerous is all a suri breeder could ask for. Armed with tight penciled locks, density, excellent coverage and high luster; it is easy to see how MAC earned his name. A grandson of StudMaster Bruxo and the 2005 Light Herdsire of the Year, 2P Inca; son of 6 Time He
Melody is undefeated as a juvenile in the show ring finishing the spring show season with 1st place at the AOBA National and Reserve Color Champion! Her sire, Macgyver's Armed and Dangerous was the 2010 Futurity Reserve Champion Herdsire of the Year. Melody has won a total of 6 blue ribbons and 3 championships at just eight months of age. Her judge who awarded her first place, Amanda Vandenbosch, said "This is an impressive class". Her comments of Melody were "Very complete package, great head style, substance of bone, with beautiful fineness and luster all the way across the fleece".
Melody has just begun her show career but has beaten many seasoned champions to win her championships. At her first show, and just over 6 months of age Melody beat 4 champions and a multi-champion yearling to win her first banner. This stunning multi-champion juvenile, with her new name, Andean Vista's Exquisite Melody, will be headed back to the show ring representing Beloved's Farm in the Fall of 2010.
