RoseMarie is a beautiful "pinkey" rose grey female. Her blanket is consistent in both color & crimp style, & her conformation & teeth are perfect. RoseMarie carries some of the best black/grey genetics with Loganberry, Fantasy's Gremlin, Petite Shenanigans & Zorro. Her fleece is dense, yet still holding a very fine micron. Her crimp style is high frequency, low amplitude .. giving that "tiny zipper" look in pink!
RoseMarie is a pretty alpaca and SWEET AS PIE! She is very well behaved and seems to love people. Breds easily and conceives on the first try. Nurses her crias well, plenty of milk and a VERY good mother. She slipped her 2011 pregnancy over the winter/spring... and so she is breeding to our MAPACA Color Champion, Crusader... a fabulous macho who has made champion offpsring.
RoseMarie had a C-section in 2010 giving us a beautiful dark brown female cria. I have been advised that this will not be a problem for her to have a normal delivery next time. I

His cria are really starting to hit the ground now! 3 this last week alone, and they are getting rave reviews by long time respected breeders. He has 4 girls and 2 boys so far with many more on the way. Kim Rassi of Vintage Alpacas told me today (6/02/10) that the little girl she just had might have the best fiber she has ever seen born on her farm! Now that is truly a compliment from such a long time respected breeder who has many color champions! We are offering FREE breedings until fall 2010. Book a breeding now before these lovely cria start hitting the show ring!
Rio de Dinheiro is a striking herdsire with the most beautiful facial markings, which he is passing on to his cria. He bears a remarkable resemblance to his sire, the renowned Aussie Rockford. PPERUVIAN FELIX G4562 is his grandfather on his dads side. His mom is full Bolivian, and his grandfather on his mothers side is BOLIVIAN BLACK THUNDER B969, who produced 221 offspring most of which were TB or grays. Th
Vintage Rio De Brunetta (Want attitude?)
Listed at $1000 by Kim Rassi & of Brooklyn Heights, OH
Brunetta arrived as a VERY active and healthy 20.6 lb cria, right out of her mothers womb (litterally!) She immediately wanted to stand and search for her first meal, unfortunately, her dam was still under anesthesia and Brunetta could not find her! Shortly after getting both dam and cria home, the bonding took place, and Brunetta was on her way. Brunetta has such a tall and upright posture, one of the first things you will notice about this show beauty. Her fleece must be highlighted here too as it is VERY VERY dense, and VERY VERY tight and curley. One of the nicest fleeces I have seen on a cria (not just my own but any cria!) The color appears to be a very dark rich brown (not a speck of white to be detected anywhere) but at the skin I am sure she looks black. SO, I am thinking she is a bay black. Legs big and strong, up on her toes right from the get-go. Perky, healthy, strong and fast... that is her disposition. She LOVES the large pasture, and tears around from one end to the other while all the other crias follow suit. She is for sale in our "pick a paca" deal for $3500 right now. Show quality without a doubt. Come see for yourself, you will have to agree. Rio has done a fine job so far on his offspring born here int he east, 3 females and 1 male to date. Pat Nash got a black male, and her vet, Dr. Larry, says he must be shorn quickly due to his extreme density! Rio gave me a black female cria a few weeks ago too. She is nice, but as with many blacks, we have to wait and see how the fiber develops. Brunetta was born with well-developed fiber!
