| | | Belle has slimmed down immensely, and our vet has given her a clean bill of health. We're very excited that her ROYAL FAWN genetics will be passed on. Her fleece keeps its low micron count, and literally gets finer each year. This is a trait we should all be breeding for.
Update, June 9, Belle surprised us all, and gave birth to a medium fawn/apricot, 16 lbs, and 1/4 Accoyo boy. Her genetics, along with our herdsire Maxito's were a winning combination, which we plan on repeating.

| | | Wow! What a phenomenal Specimen of an Accoyo Herdsire. He's been blessed with the same fleece traits as his sire, Senor Accoyo Pablo, right down to the brightness, ultra fine 15.4 micron, and bundling crimp on some of the whitest fleece I've ever experienced. All this atop a squared off frame with perfect conformation~ straight and lean with elite crimpy fleece.
Maxito is very expressive, and laid back. Maxito has been added to Picasso Alpaca's breeding program. His bloodlines and qualities are exactly the traits we strive to achieve in our breeding program. He was bred to our girl Paris, and we are excited to see the criation, due June 2010.

Little Man Atticus is no small alpaca! His fleece is dense, typey, and a show stopper. His dam Belle has fleece characateristics that literally, her micron only gets finer with age. Combine that with his sire, Maxito, who has fine, dense, and very crimpy fleece, along with Accoyo genetics, to complete this young herdsire's profile.
Definitely a herdsire quality male here.
Remember when you are looking at his dense fleece that he also has a very fine micron, and still looks this dense!!
