CHASE TAVERN Snowpuff

White, 1178166, Full Peruvian

Snowpuff is just that--like a puff of snow! She is a big boned girl with solid conformation. In full fleece, she looks like her fleece is never ending! She could use a bit more density, so that is a consideration for her in breeding decisions. Snowpuff is even tempered and even pregnancy does not seem to change her gentle, easy going personality. Even our vet has commented that she is one of the easiest adult alpacas she has worked with. All four of Snowpuff's cria have arrived with no complications and she took to her role as a mother beautifully. Plenty of milk and lots of caring for her crias. She is bred to Hobby Horse Peruvian Whirlaway and due late spring of 2010.
Snowpuff is full Peruvian and 1/2 Accoyo. She is out of 6Peruvian Accoyo Powerball.
She is one of our favorites and she and her cria seem to have an unusual bond. You will ususally find three, if not all 4 of her cria right by her most of the time. They lay down together, sleep close to each other, and often

  Bennie
    White, 30369863, 1/4 Bolivian, 3/4 Peruvian

What can we say about Bennie? Bennie was born just days after we purchased his mother. He had a very rough beginning and pulled through it all thanks to the hard work of Katy Spears and Jeremy at Fairhope Alplacas where he was born. And of course the fact that he had an undefeatable urge to live. And are we thankful. After all the poking and prodding and bottle feeding and supplementing, Bennie still is a sweetheart. And the main man of Willow Glen Farm! Although he is a little on the small side, his conformation and fleece are great. We are anxiously waiting for his first cria to arrive in the fall of 2007.

Iceberg is out of our own Bennie and he has definitely inherited his sire's easy going way. A joy to train and a quick learner. And very easy going. His fleece is looking better and better as time goes on. Beautiful crimp and nice bundles. And very soft too.
Iceberg is definitely his sire's son. Slow growing just like Dad. Expect a growth spurt the summer or fall of 2011. It will be interesting to see the improvement as he matures. He already has surprised us with the change in his fiber since his 1st shearing.

Price: $500
