What can we say? Just look at that face! This delicate young lady is the daughter of Accoyo Mr. President, that sold at Magical Farms 2002 Auction for 155,000 dollars. She is an adorable animal with an incredible amount of fine fleece. She had over a 6 inch staple length when first shorn at only 10 months of age. Her fleece has a well defined crimp to it that carries consistently into the darker areas of her blanket. She has incredible fineness and handle to her fiber as is evidenced by her histogram. We love the fancy and multi-colored animals and the beautiful tweed/heather blend that their fleece spins into. Snickers was purchased specifically to breed to our AOBA National Champion, Shazaam! Their progeny will remain 1/2 Accoyo, since Shazaam is also 1/2 Accoyo. Their cria are spectacular! UPDATE: Snickers is a FANTASTIC mother! Her cria have been 1/2 Accoyo to date and all by Shazaam! She is an extremely attentive dam and the cria gain almost a pound a day! We liked t
What makes a true herdsire? How about rock solid conformation, show presence, outstanding fleece with character, coverage, and density, large testicles, perfect bite at 7 years old, typey Accoyo head style, Champion pedigree, and a bonus of an even, pleasant temperament! All this wrapped up in the complete package of Full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo, 1/4 Alianza R.A. Midas!! Midas has been tucked away on a farm just enjoying life. He was too closely related to the animals on the farm to be used as a herdsire, and he never got the opportunity to show. Midas is the younger FULL BROTHER to fawn R.A. Mr. Pennsylvania! Mr. PA has been producing OUTSTANDING show quality cria. One of his daughters sold for $50,000 at auction in 2005! He has produced so well, that Anthony Stachowski purchased half interest in this male, and Mr. Pennsylvania's breeding fee just increased to $5000.00!! Midas is carrying those phenomenal genes through the exact same pedigree! We believe that the da
Havenfield's Go For The Gold (Mr. P, Leon, + King!)
Gold is our first cria out of R.A. Midas for us and we could not be happier!! He is a little spitfire already! Born unassisted at 20.2 pounds--he is a little moose and fast as lightning!! He was one of the most challenging cria I have ever had to get a picture of!! The field is his racetrack and he just flies around!! His strength, presence, and fleece density are already apparent in his young body!! This little man comes from some amazing bloodlines and his pedigree shows. His dam Snickers is half Accoyo, sired by the amazing Ppperuvian Mr. President who sold for 155,000! Mr. P was lost as a result of the tragic feed poisoning in Ohio. Snickers took a first place with her fleece at the 2004 AOBA National Handspinner's Competition as proof to the lovely handle of her fiber. Snicker's is also a fabulous mother. She has a huge amount of milk and you can literally milk her like a cow! Gold's sire Midas is 1/2 Accoyo and 1/4 Alianza! R.A. Grace was the dam to Midas. She has proved her production value as a fabulous dam and multiple offspring from her have won Championships. Grace's sire Accoyo Ppperuvian King was co-owned by Alpacas of America and Magical Farms. He was one of the first picks in the 5Star Peruvian importation. King was known for his extreme coverage, obscene density, and bold crimp which he passed on to his offspring. Sadly he died with only 65 cria on the ground. Grace's dam was an Alianza import with an 18.9 micron! GO GOR THE GOLD has the genetic background to produce some fabulous cria. Handspinner judge for 2013 MAPACA LOVED his fleece!

She stated that he embodied what you want a stud to be!! Midas was tucked away on a farm and never shown in his younger years. We took him to this show at 8 years of age just to see what he would do. HE STRUTTED HIS STUFF AND TURNED HEADS AS HE WALKED BY!!
