Sofia has a 80% female ratio. She has had 4 females and one male in her breeding career, with 5 different Sires...great news for any breeding program.
Sofia has been a wonderful asset to our breeding program. She has produced four females, 6Peruvian Accoyo Brutus's Ms Brittney Marie, Cascaid Mountain's Ms. O'Suzanna, Nishio's Atilito's Miss Lady Sasha-SOLD and in 2011 Duke of Wakeman's Lady Shyloh.
Why are we selling as you can see we have her daughters, we intend on keeping this bloodline in our breeding program, we want to sell two of the females, so whomever sells first the others will come off the market.
When Sofia's daughter, Lady Sasha hit the showring in 2010, she took third in a class of 9, simply a beauty. And then followed with a first place in her first fleece spin off! Sasha has been sold is moving to south eastern Ohio.
Sofia had her first male in 2010. Zepplin's Sir Spencer,(MB) Spencer he carried amazing fleece and density.
Peruvian Cascaid Mountain has beautiful, high frequency black crimp with outstanding density. He is a half-brother to Peruvian Eternal Flame who sold at the 2005 Breeder's Choice auction for a black male world record of $361,000. He has Peruvian Dakotia in his background as well as Peruvian Bueno. His dam is MFI Peruvian Caresse, a black daughter of Peruvian Dakotia, now owned by Whistler's Glen Alpacas. This crossing of the Dakotia/Bueno lines and Black Mesquite/Matador lines is an outstanding one. Cascaid shares residency at Coffee Pot Farm and Magical Farm, and is currently at Magical Farm for the winter.
Cascaid is producing awesome offspring with solid color. His first offspring was a true black from an appaloosa dam, and the majority of his offspring have been solid with grey shades to their heads and necks, especially when bred to fawn with grey in the back ground. O'Suzanna "Suzi" is 15/16 Peruvian female, a dark brown sweetheart who stands proudly with her black points framing her face. Suzi has strong conformation, large bone and wears a dense fleece with tiny crimps throughout. With her black points and strong black in her back ground Suzi will be a delight within any breeding program. Have fun breeding her, and then watch what she is criating and then watch the amazing birth and the surprise...and then the question "what color were we breeding for" ??
Her 2011 Son Duke of Wakeman's Sir Sampson has been sold and is living in Indiana as a future herdsire!!
