Adoncia...the grand dam of our M-R Alpacas Herd. Our first alpaca!!
Not enough space to talk about what this wonderful foundation female has done for our breeding program. Just getting into the business in 2004, we looked at her price and thought, "well if this is what we need to pay for her, then let's pay it", what a great business decision she is!!
Adoncia is a beautiful large framed 3/4 accoyo female still showcasing very uniform, tight fleece and wonderful conformation. She is an incredible mom and looks after all the crias in the maturty barn! Even when Annabelle had Ashley, Adoncia stood guard so the other little cria would not hurt Ashley. An amazing site to see...
Asante' is one of the darkest-colored full Accoyo studs in the USA! Not only does he posses rare color for a full Accoyo, but he is also unusual among mature Accoyo males in several other respects including: very minimal guard hair and medullation, excellent head and leg coverage, and near perfect conformation. Full brother to our blue ribbon herdsire Accoyo Pacifico, Asante' has won blue ribbons of his own. Asante' has excellent coverage, large bone, and a wide frame with excellent spacing in both the front and rear. His fleece has the outstanding handle and uniformity you expect out of a full Accoyo Legacy son, but with the added, and unexpected, fawn coloration. If you have been looking for a colored Accoyo to breed to your females, Asante' offers the strongest combination of conformation and color available in a full Accoyo herdsire. Asante' has nearly 30 crias on the ground and the results have been remarkable. Asante's first cria is a light fawn male owned by Flying
Annabelle and Montana had a stunning little light fawn girl on May 9th, Lady Addison, pictures to follow.
When we purchased Adoncia, our first alpaca, little did we know the wonderful alpaca she was creating, Annabelle. We are blessed with this sweet nature female, her face is stunning to look at with her gentle coal black eyes! Annabelle is a 7/8 accoyo light fawn carrying the accoyo genetics of her sire NorthCoast El Accoyo Asante, full accoyo, dark fawn son of the beloved 4Peruvian Legacy who the alpaca industry has lost and from her dam Adoncia, an Accoyo Peruvian Accipiter daughter who carries 3/4 accoyo genetics.
Annabelle brings to our breeding program density, crimp, sweet nature personality, a perfect bite and conformation, all this rolled into this beautiful light fawn female.
Annabelle had her first cria May 11, 2009, MRAR Zepplin's Mr. Apollo, a light fawm male that went on to take "JUDGES CHOICE" and the 1st Place Blue Ribbon at 2011 California Classic Fleece Spin Off. The judge commented she normally does not give juvi's this honor but this guy was off the charts! Apollo is a looker, and has been SOLD and is standing Stud with Wyndy Pynes Farms in Michigan
Her second cria was born on May 13, 2010 also a stunning light fawn female, Legendary's Miss Lady Ashley now living in PA with Steeple View Alpacas!
and then on June 9, 2011 Annabelle gave birth to MRAR Duke of Wakeman's Annastasia, oh my we knew she was special within days, she is a stunning BB female with black points, coming from dad, our own Michangelo's Duke of Wakeman! Annastasia in her first show took 2nd place with the first place female going on to take Color Champion.
in her second show: ANNASTASIA TOOK COLOR CHAMPION AT THE MICHIGAN INTERNATIONAL ALPACA FEST 2012. SHE WAS IN A CLASS OF 10 AND WENT ALL THE WAY...SO EXCITED TO SEE WHAT ANNABELLE CONTINUES TO BRING TO OUR BREEDING PROGRAM! LOVE THIS GIRL~
