Queen B's Gasparilla   

Light Rose Grey, 30018166, 1/4 Bolivian, 3/4 Peruvian

Gasparilla is quite the beauty queen! She is all suri with a stretchy conformation and a beautiful tuxedo rose gray fleece. There's really not much to fault Gasparilla on...she's a pretty little girl. She did not get shown as a juvenile/yearling due to stress during her weaning and transport to Colorado. As a yearling Gasparilla had great luster and gorgeous little pencil locks from head to toe. Gasparilla has a very desirable typey head complemented by her shaggy top knot and fuzzy ears. Her conformation is perfect and her bite is right on. She has superb fleece coverage all the way down to between her toes. Gasparilla went into the breeding program spring 2007 and was bred to Accoyo Chief Ouray. She delivered without difficulty a 1/2 Accoyo dark fawn female April 2008. It's another medium fawn girl for Gasparilla, Celtic Rose. What a Beauty!

Gasparilla will be breeding to our 2 Time Futurity Champ, Ravada's Tulok, for her 2010 cria.

We are very excited about our recent acquisition of Ravada's Tulok from Ravada Hills Alpaca Farm. Our thanks to Ron & Sandy Hendricks for making this fine young junior herdsire available!

Tulok is the offspring of a White dam, Francis, and a Dark Fawn Gunsmoke son, Radar. He has phenomenal fiber - great locks, luster and density. He has started his show career with a bang - 1st at the Southern Select under Jude Anderson, 1st at the very competitive Futurity under Amanda Vandenbosch, and 1st and Color Champ in the Buckeye show under Wade Gease. Tulok was awarded the Blue by Amanda in a class of nine and her comments included "solid bone, independent locks right to the skin, and good density"

Update! Ravada's Tulok just took 1st Place in the 2008 Futurity Show , Silver Grey Yearling Males. Judge Mike Safley's comments were about his Luster, great independence of locks, & Density. Way to go Tulok! That is 2 Futurity Titles in a Row.
