6Peruvian Arista

Beige, 812052, Full Peruvian

Arista is just one of those alpacas with amazing crimp and density. At 7 years old her crimp has not changed from the picture you see. You just cant wait each year for her next offspring.Arista has produced TRUE BLACK GIRL in the past. Arista is also dam of our champion herdsire Shazzamm!

Arista is a Beautiful Typey Beige/white female. She is Super Dense, very crimpy, has excellent conformation, large bone structure and a charming top knot. Let me rephrase that, Arista is the densest female we have ever seen. Her bold bundled crimp is from skin to the tips. Arista is quite the fiber producer consistantly shearing 9lbs./year, while pregnant!. Anthony Stachowski nicknamed her "The Fiber Machine".

She is a Great milking Mom and overall excellent nurturing mother to her crias. Arista has darker pigmentation around eyes and toe nails which is a good indicator that she will continue passing color. .

Arista is bred to our own Daark fawn herdsire, Peruvian Admiral. He is a grandson of

Another Championship for another Admiral Offspring! Admiral is ALL about fineness. Lingering fineness to be more precise. He is really stamping fineness on his offspring.

WOW!!! Admiral's 5 year old histogram:

19.75AFD 3.92 19.85CV 98.16 !!

The AlpacaRosa refers to this as
"LINGERING FINENESS"
in a breeding male!

Ian Watt's comments about Admiral's 2010 histogram "I was blown away with the report for Admiral - this is quite the best 70 month male of ANY color I have tested in 4 years here in the US; the fleece traits are very, very good."

Check out Admiral's sheen and crimp in his 4 year old blanket pics. Still very little guard hair in his blanket at age 6!

We think Ava's second cria (Reality at Dawn) is one of the best crias we have produced. Check out Reality at Dawn's Listing and you will see why!

Ava's first cria was just what we were looking for when we combined her extremely dense fleece with the fine fleece of Cactus Jack. The result is a medium fawn male named Boomerang who has excellent conformation and fleece structure. His fleece is crimpy, bright, fine, and carries a very nice level of density. Boomerang took first place at the 2011 OABA Alpacafest.

Ava has a wonderfully dense, crimpy fiber with a brightness that the judges comment on every time. Not only is she a Misty Maiden great-granddaughter, she is a great great grandaughter of Royal Fawn. Other notable genetics include Accoyo Camilio, and Camelot.

Ava has been bred to Ark's Marathon's Gecko for a Summer 2013 cria. We will be breeding her back to MFI Peruvian Reality Check in the Summer of 2013.
