Black Chip's Queen of Hearts

Pattern, 839071, 1/4 Bolivian, 3/4 Peruvian

At the 2003 Midwest Alpaca Jamboree, judge Amanda VandenBosch said Queen of Hearts is the "total package" in a full-fleeced yearling suri female with a very typey head, great conformation, excellent coverage, nice locks and a cool hand.

We will ALWAYS compare our showgirls to the ultimate showgirl--QUEEN OF HEARTS!

Queenie was a wonderful showgirl and now she is a wonderful mom. She has had 5 large, healthy babies (See Lorna Dune, Dura Lock, Oliver, The Duke of SSR, Lodi's Captivating) with uncomplicated deliveries. She is a good, attentive mom with lots of milk. A higher quality female suri alpaca would be very difficult to find.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Queenie has given birth to her second female offspring on July 5, 2010, sired by Old Spice.

  WLK Old Spice
    Medium Brown, 831396, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

The richest dark Maroon fleece covers Old Spice from his nose to his toes with penciling to the skin and luster galore. His dam has the same beautiful color and his sire is a rare True Black, giving this young male the greatest potential to pass on intense color, terrific luster, and definition of lock to his offspring. Old Spice's cria are consistently gorgeous with wonderful fleece and conformation. They have made their papa proud in numerous show rings.

Old Spice is co-owned with Steve and Kathy Bergeman of Breakstone Ridge Alpacas, Chippewa Falls, WI, http://www.breakstoneridge.com.

Gracie is tall and heavy-boned like her dam, and exhibits a high luster thanks to her herdsire. She has inherited quality characteristics from both sides of her parentage. We are hoping she will follow in her mom's footsteps in the showring.
