What does Motown have to offer? Outstanding conformation, soft hand, fine fiber, uniform locks and luster! Take a look at his histograms...he was still fine at six years of age. Motown is a half brother of the well-known Pardner, but has never produced any Huacaya offspring. All 20 of Motown's offspring are ARI registered and all are definitely suris. In 2001 two of Motown's sons, PFF Neutrino and PFF Hannibal, competed against each other and took turns winning 1st, 2nd or 3rd place at the Estes Park Wool Market, HART Fall Festival and the Midwest Alpaca Jamboree. At the 2003 AOBA National Conference fleece show, son PFF Pink Floyd, won 2nd place out of 7 entries losing only to the late Jackpot. Both offspring of Motown's daughter, Flower Girl, are stud quality males; PFF Ytterboe won four blues and a color championship in 2004.
Flower Girl (aka Flo) is the daughter of an imported female from the Acero Marka herd in Bolivia. Both Flo and her dam, Florida, have been outstanding foundation females at Pine Forty Farms. Flo is a relatively large and robust problem-free female with excellent mothering skills and ample milk production. Bred to white males she has produced spot-free white offspring, but she can allow the sires color to come through as she produced a bay black male when bred to a black and white male. When bred to our own PFF Illimanis Primo who is the son of another Acero Marka import, Flo has consistently produced cria with very correct conformation, solid substance of bone, perfect bites and classic bearded Suri heads. In fact, her daughter PFF Primos Cover Girl was awarded Best Female Suri Head by Judge Julio Sumar at the 2007 Midwest Alpaca Jamboree. Flos son PFF Ytterboe won the white color championship at the Midwest Alpaca Jamboree in 2004 under Judge Sumar in addition to 1st place ribbons at the 2005 Great Western Alpaca Show and the AOBA National Conference Show. Another of Flos sons, PFF Admirals Ace Commander, is now one of our herd sires. Due to space limitations and economic considerations Flo is currently open, but she sells with a full reproductive guarantee and a free breeding to any of our available males. She is in good health and has tested negative for BVDV by PCR. You might also want to take a look at Flos daughter, PFF Primos Valley Girl who is boarding at C & M Acres in Maxwell and is listed on their AN website.
