"Choco" is full Peruvian and part Accoyo. His beautiful fleece and solid conformation are a welcome addition to selective suri herds. He is a grandson on his dam's side of true black 4Peruvian Royal Black Gold. On his dam's side, he is a half-brother to multiple blue ribbon winner and Champion, RFSS Peach Truffles. Choco's crias, many of them black, have been beautiful. World-class alpaca judge, Amanda VandenBosch, said that she pegged Choco's son, Jasper, for her first place juvenile dark suri male as soon as he walked into the ring at the 2006 Sunshine State Alpaca Expo, and she then picked Jasper as her Reserve Champion over 14 other males, many two years and older, when he was just eight months of age. The next month, Jasper was chosen as Color Champion at the Southern Select 2006, and then he took a First at the 2006 MaPaca Jubilee, one of the industry’s largest alpaca shows. In 2008, Choco's daughter, RFSS Rosebud, was unbeaten in her color class and took two Championships. Choco's son, Ali of TCF, placed ahead of sons of Torbio, Commander in Chief, and Sirius Black in the 2008 Spring shows, taking a Championship at the Palmetto Classic and placing at the Futurity. Choco's son, RFSS Bonfire, took three Championships in three shows in Spring, 2009, at just eight months of age. Check out Choco's newest, Raissa, owned by Sweet Blossom Alpaca Farm, Plant City, Florida -- Raissa is medium silver gray! Choco is co-owned with Joyce Johnson, Shadowland Ranch Suri Alpacas, Defiance, Missouri, so you can catch up with Choco at either farm.

After more than 25 years in the fiber animal business (10 with sheep and over 15 with alpacas), we are retiring from farming. This is your opportunity to own a part of one of the industry's most successful suri breeding programs. Everything and anything goes! All our prices have been reduced 50% or more. Financing is available at 4% with just 10% down and monthly payments of just $200.
