Rosa Lee is a product of our lavender rose grey foundation female, Twilight, and our herdsire, Scenario. We waited for the first ten years we owned Twilight for her to give us a clone of herself. Finally!!! Rosa is a bright, active, inquisitive alpaca. Most exciting is her fiber, both the color and the character. Her fiber definitely has a lavender cast with virtually no spots on her blanket and it displays a good crimp, with density and softness.

Rosa proved to be an attentive, excellent mother who had ample rich milk for her first cria, Rita, born in 2009. Rosa's second cria was born July 6, 2010. We were pleased with the breeding combination of Rosa with Lockhart which produced Rita so we repeated it for 2010. There was no disappointment. Rosa had a healthy, dark silver grey male, Rafferty. It's a bit early to determine fiber quality but first indications are that it will be very good.
