| | | Jana Rose is listed as reference only as she will have a place in our foundation herd. We love her solid gray blanket and black underside plus her dense topknot on top of the cutest face. She has a nice, calm personality and is very smart and playful. This Curly Clay daughter fits well into our plan for breeding excellent alpacas as she placed 2nd at Nationals as a juvey. As a yearling and continuing to her last show, the 2007 Great Western Alpaca Show,she earned herself 5 Blues, 1 color championship and 2 reserve color championship(behind rose grays). Her dam is a rose gray and Clay is TB.
On 9/11 the day started out with awful memories but soon improved with the slightly early arrival of Jana's cria. A beautiful bay black girl named Adonis' Sweet Sable. Extraordinary fleece! Super dense tight knots of curl.
Sweet Sable is now true black.

| | | He's BAAACK! After standing stud this Jan-June in Missouri, we now have him on farm. He looks excellent. Adonis has been making amazing offspring! They consistently are the finest on our farm including 16.2 micron on white and 17.8 on a true black. Take a look at his show winnings and imagine your Adonis kids doing the same. Best thing is the "pet" personalities he makes. His lineage is outstanding for champions of color. He settled his first female at 23mths and is an efficient breeder. Being out of the strong impact sire Royal Fawn lineage, he is imparting his excellent qualities. His sire, Eros, won the Big E Get of Sire in '05 and prior to that he won FIRSTS@ MAPACA,AOBA,ALL AMER.FUTURITY,AND THE EMPIRE IN '03. Laredo's one year fleece is 21.0-very nice for true black!! Laredo has HUGE potential!!! His sire Adonis and dam Jana Rose (solid gray)were almost undefeated during their yearling years in the show ring. The laid back personality of both parents is apparent also as this guy is a sweety. He has what we love in both his parents-heavy bone with incredible coverage resulting in tree trunk legs. Now the fleece....tiny bundles of the crimpest fiber and very dense with a silky soft handle. Laredo is also very straight.
His maternal sire is TB Curly Clay and his sire had a TB dam and TB grandsire on maternal side with Royal Fawn line on his paternal. Royal Fawn is known for letting dams color through or coloring up. He will win ribbons-guaranteed.
Laredo has zero white or gray fibers-unusual for a black. Judges love his compact frame with tree trunk legs and fleece between his toes.
In his last show for the spring he took a 3rd behind his penmate Seismic and 1st took the CC and is a multi-champion so very tough competition!
