Opalessence is absolutely gorgeous! She has fantastic coverage and soft curly twisted locks that look wet all the time. “Opal”, as we call her for short, has everything breeders talk about.

We know she carries the grey genes because the skin on her nose and ears is grey. She also has grey toenails.

When you look down in the pasture, you can see her fleece shimmering in the sunlight.

She has 4Peruvian Silver Bullet as a grandsire! She is a Color Champion, bred to a Reserve Color Champion!

On 7-16-2010 Opal delivered a stand out TB female cria with a white splash on her face.

Cronan is an extremely dark, dense and shiny boy. He has a full top knot and coverage all the way down his legs. He is third generation black. He is conformationally and bite correct. He has a pleasant demeanor and will often come when called. He has done very well in the show circuit, with several blues,a reserve champion and one red under his belt. As a yearling, he took first under Dr Julio Sumar at M.A.J. in a large class. The competition was so tough that males that placed 2nd and 3rd in other competitions did not even place here. He beat out males from lineage Angel, Protocal, Black Chip and MacGyver.

His name means "dark swarthy one." His sire is Bonanza in Black who was sired by the famous Fruzane Noir. His dam is Carmelita whose grandsire is Peruvian Atahaulla. She is medium brown with a gray face and black nose, ears and feet. She is a strong black producer, so black runs deep in his lines.
