A beautiful white hembra out of good stock, gave birth April 27th to her first cria from well known sire Peruvian Accoyo White Gold. She will be bred to NWA Ltd. Handsome in May of 2006.
Her male cria, Palladium, was awesome and now ready to start breeding.
She delivered a female cria, Handy Prancer, sired by Handsome, then another female cria, Ms. Pristine, sired by Mr. Maverick. Now she is bred to Bravado for a July 2009 cria.
July 2009 -- A healthy Bravado son born. Another nice offspring.
Son of Peruvian Don Julio, an outstanding male from the first Peruvian importation, that was later sold to Australia. Don Julio was owned in a partnership with AOBA Senior judge Jude Anderson until his death.
Now deceased, his listing remains for reference. Don't wait to breed to the 'good ole boys' - they won't be around forever.
According to Jude Anderson, Mister Maverick looked just like his legendary Alianza sire, PERUVIAN DON JULIO. From outstanding lineage, he has the traits you expect: eye-catching precense, flawless conformation and a perfect bite, dense fine fleece, extravagant coverage, heavy bone - and no 'hairy' look from coarse guard hair, not even in the 'apron'!
In the '06 Making of Champions sale catalog, Julie Skinner of Snowmass Alpacas states that she traded two imported full Accoyo studs to obtain PERUVIAN DON JULIO, "...he was that good!". Listed as 'Cantexto' in import records, he recieved a 'superior' rating. Exp

Sire - Mister Maverick was pure Alianza son of Peruvian Don Julio with the conformation and type we like. A beautiful head, strong bone, abundant coverage, and proud presence completed the picture. Mister Maverick is pictured at 11 years of age!
His sire, Don Julio, was considered to be one of the best of the males imported from the Rural Alianza in Peru. As you check the pedigrees, you will notice that his influence is still being felt in the show rings today.
Dam - A daughter of Lanarks Monarch, son of the Accoyo import 4P Lanark's Macho Man. This is a relatively rare bloodline. Monarch's fiber test - 2001: AFD 19.6, SD 4.1, CV 21.1, only 1.2% greater than 30!!
Prima Donna is also a grandaughter of Royal Fawn. Dam's sire's granddam: 4Peruvian Lanark's Dreamy import fiber test: FD-18.2 SD-3.7 CV-20.3 %>30-3.0 Impressive!
