Pattern, 816256, Full Bolivian

This beautiful import has thrown two TB, one DF and four multi crias. Her crias (except the latest, of course) are all ribbon-winners, and are evidence of the quality she puts forth.

Rainbow has a flat lock style, excellent CV which gives her a nice handle even though her micron count is high (of course, you need to consider that genetically she is a BLACK alpaca with a large white spot, so her fleece seems to correlate more closely with her black pigmentation than with the white fleece). Rainbow has a very sweet appearance, and is a protective dam. Her crias have all had greatly improved fleece characteristics and bone structure, so she has been proven "upgradeable." Rainbow has excellent conformation and has maintained a straight topline despite having birthed at least 6 crias.

Rainbow's 2010 cria is Staccato, a gorgeous patterned female by Phillips Patches, now deceased. "Stax" was literally born trying to run; her front legs were searching for traction before th

Patches has exquisite conformation, fleece and presence, in addition to the renown genetics of Sergeant Major Jax and Pperuvian Juan. He has been evaluated by a well known suri breeder and judge as having excellent lock structure from skin to tip. Patch's first cria was born 9/3/09 - a lovely LB (solid!) female out of our Spectra. Her conformation seems impeccable. We'll keep you posted on her development.

Patch has taken awards at the 2008 ALSA Spring Show and the 2007 MIAF and OABA, as well as first place awards at the 2008 and 2009 Western New York Alpaca show. His fleece regrowth has been rapid, and he relocked very quickly. At the 2009 show, Judge Ken Hibbetts commented that he felt Patch's fiber exemplified what suri fleece should be!

I recently had a farm visit from a very experienced suri breeder who, when she got a glimpse of Staccato, did a double-take and said "Wow, look at that!" It's true. She's one of those alpacas that you can't take your eyes off of once you see her. Staccato ("Stax") is a fabulous young lady with excellent conformation and fleece. Her fiber architecture is outstanding, with show-quality pencilled locks, exceptional luster and fantastic fineness. Stax is a sturdy, lively female who is active and playful. She is growing rapidly, and is a marvelous representative of her show-winning sire, Philips Patches. Stax will make an exceptional production female. If you're looking for a showable suri female, definitely put Stax on your shopping list! We are moving out our pattern suris, so we've listed Stax on our "quick sale" list at bottom-dollar pricing. If you wish, we will breed her for you to your choice of our males.

Stax comes with one free breeding.
