		Camila is a Real Winner, having placed First in her class at the Huron Show with over 350 alpacas. She was placed in our breeding program right afterwords. In this outstanding proven dam, we combine the awesome genetics of BLACK MAGIC with those of CONAN. CONAN's son and Camila's sire has a 97% COMFORT FACTOR and several Blue Ribbons in the ring. His genetics have already combined in Camila to produce a 19 MICRON CRIA FLEECE! Her fiber stats blew out this year due to diet changes @ 5 farms and pregnancy. Conan is dense, sons Lancaster and Gustav are DENSE. Caligula is dense, Simba is dense AND fine, Black Magic is one of the best herdsires on Stachowski's herdsire row. Camila had her A.L.Paca's SIMBA cria out in the pasture all by herself on Sunday, July 6th. Simba is an awesome 9X Champion stud out of the Caligula line. 		UPDATE: 7 female crias on the gound...5 MEDIUM ROSE GREYs DUPLICATE OF CRUSADER (Out of a solid TB females and a rose grey female), also a drg female cria out of a solid modern rose grey dam, and a TB female out of a TB dam. 100% FEMALEs so far!! Half accoyo and rose grey perfection! What a great combination of grey and fawn genetics! So, he is a female producer! That's very important if you are buying a male! more important if you are buying a breeding! He is crimpy and soft, with bright and glossy fiber. No spots -- NONE!! His feet are white as is his forhead, grey ears, then rose grey throughout. Crimp is out of this world!! He is LOADED with density, crimp and brightness... almost like a platinum sheen ....Mary Reed estimated his micron at 14-16 microns and said there was absolutely no guard hair in the sample she pulled to inspect! Terra Preta is Camila's 3rd male cria of the Caligula lines crossed with the Black Magic lines. His newborn neck fiber and blanket fiber are showing bundling and crimp. He is light fawn neck and saddle with white lower parts typical of the vicuna and light fawn patterns. Looking at his right side, I see a big M.

He is a sturdy cria with good bone structure. He appears to be growing up fine and dense, but time will tell.

His dna card will determine whether he is Infiniti or Archimedes Vintage Crusader offspring. Both have Caligula in their lines.

Terra Preta is the golden secret of the Amazon. It is about maintaining fertility over time and retoring fertility to the soil of the rainforest with underlying stores of charcoal in the soil from slash and burn farming techniques and the soil being able to regenerate by itself. As we hope for this young males future show and herdsire potential, his name is most appropriate! And underlying charcoal? Well his granddam is true black and if his sire is Crusader, then that is light rose grey. So we will see what the blood card shows. His half/full brother, Regis has a great full fleeced face and top knot as does Infinit's champion girl, Copper Penny. So we just have to wait and see as he grows.
