| | | ** Daughter of Peruvian Oro ** Mother of Champion Spark - Look at that Monster Fleece at right - One of the best I have ever seen & felt.
Rose delivered 8-23-10: Beautiful Dark Brown Delphi's Elyria is here. Pix soon! Rose is a daughter of Peruvian Oro - which makes her Avatar's aunt. She was bred to our silver Champion MFI Toledo - a great match.
I am loving Elyria's shiny soft fleece already at day 3 - I know better than to sell girls this young - but here's a great opportunity for a happy buyer.
Rose is a tall stretchy girl with correct conformation and bite. Her fleece is very soft with high frequency crimp present. Rose is the mother of one of Champion Alpacas' best Christopher B sons, Champion's Spark (see Spark's fleece pic at right). Spark helped win Get of Sire classes for his dad. | |

| | | We bred Toledo to Champion Avatar daughter Daily Alice, as well as Misty Rose, Delphi's Darcy, and Jackson, for his 2010 "litter". Oh my are we pleased! Watch for "Vincent" a stunning fawn; "Cassius": a gorgeous maroon; "Elyria": a lovely maroon girl, and our friends at Windmill Haven report a gorgeous dark girl as well. We are repeating breedings!
We chose Toledo from Magical Farms' crop of weanlings in 2003, and he has shown exceptionally well with the best of the best grays in the country since. In 2006 Mike Safley commented enthusiastically about his fleece to his handler at a level 5 show, awarding him a second place ribbon, the first place going to Crescent Moon's ATV Adonnis - one of the most successfully shown gray males in the country. At the same show Toledo was awarded First place and Color Champion Gray fleece in the fleece show. Toledo is owned with our friends, Lynda and Ken Maul, and their partner Christa Cushman, all of Dolores Colorado.

Breeding to Zeppelin now - imagine the cria they'll have for you! **Fine Fine Fine** And her second fleece is super fine too. 5-9-11= (shorn at 8 1/2 months of age) AFD 16.4 / SD 3.5 / CV 21.4 / 0.7% >305-11-12: AFD 17.8 / SD 4.2 / CV 23.8 / 0.9% >30
And we also found a grey streak on her shoulder! "Elly" was named after a city in Ohio, Elyria, near Toledo (her dad). ;^) Both her parents are grey - so she has strong color potential. Her fleece is very very soft, with silver fibers throughout her blanket. And her second fleece came in Very Fine too.
This little gem has the genetics. Her mom is beautiful rose grey Misty Rose, daughter of Peruvian Oro. Her dad is Champion silver grey MFI Toledo. He has dynamite crimp and density.
Price includes her breeding to Zeppelin.
Check out her auction on openherd now - (Visit openherd.com and search for Delphi Alpacas). Auction ends Sunday the 7th. SOLD!
