Medium Brown, 848621, Full Peruvian
UPDATE: Hannah just gave birth to a beautiful, medium brown girl with black points! Hannah's fourth girl in a row and this one is dripping with luster. She is out of our herdsire SBS Solstice, who has produced a multitude of award winners for us. This one will be no exception.
Hannah displays excellent conformation, good bone, extreme coverage all the way down to her toes, and a very beautiful head. She is one of the friendliest alpacas on the farm and is always the first to greet you in the morning.
In 2008, Hannah delivered a beautiful medium fawn girl (Miley Ray) out of Cortez's Golden Goliath (an offspring of our herdsire NGG Cortez!). Miley is a very high luster girl with great locks and incredible fineness! We have placed her in our foundation herd and think she is going to be a real asset to our breeding program! NOTE: Check out Miley's skin biopsy results that were just posted - unbelievable. And a real reflection of what Hannah can produce!

Cortez offers the most important quality you will want in a herdsire - the ability to pass on great fiber characteristics and great conformation, not only to his offspring, but to his "grand-offspring". Cortez has produced a whole string of show winners with great luster and a wonderful, soft handle. And he has done it in a whole variety of colors, from white to dark to grey! His offspring have then gone on to produce even more winners. These genetics endure, and you will want them in your breeding program!
Cortez is a big-boned, proud fawn suri male with outstanding, penciled locks, excellent luster and density, and great uniformity (CV of 17.9 at 12 yrs of age!) and he passes all of these outstanding traits to his offspring. That's why some of the best suri farms in the U.S. are using his genetics in their herds! We recommend a breeding to Cortez if you are looking to improve fineness, uniformity, lock and luster in your suri herd.
Lola is a beautiful girl out of great genetics - her dam is a MacGyver daughter and her sire is NGG Cortez - a male who has sired a multitude of award winning offspring.
Her biopsy results indicate 40.75 F/Sq mm, and S/P ratio of 10.3:1, gland rating of 3 of 4, and a primary/secondary micron spread of 8.5 - all very respectable.
While Lola's first fleece was soft, silky, and lustrous, she has not been able to retain her fineness. As such, we are offering her at a reduced price. We bred her to LCA Boots to improve lock structure and uniformity, and she had her first cria in Spring, 2012 - a beautiful, solid brown boy who is a definite improvement over Lola. While he will not be show quality, due to a lack of uniformity across his blanket, he would have been a "keeper" for a breeding program had he been a girl. With this in mind, we have again bred Lola to Boots for a 2013 cria (and hopefully a girl!). Lola will be a great starter animal for anyone's herd - easy birther, good mom, nice healthy offspring - you can't go wrong with her!
