Our Gypsy Lady

Bay Black, 805842, Other/Unknown

Our Gypsy Lady comes from a solid "down under" lineage (Australia and New Zealand). Wiki Wiki, Gypsy's Sire is a superb grey herd sire with excellent conformation, coverage, consistency, luster, handle and fiber. Unfortunaley he recently passed away leaving behind a wealth of offsprings. Gypsy's Dam, Welcome Rosarita is of a gorgeous female from New Zealand bloodline with good density and crimp. Gypsy, as we call her, is a bay black who maintains consistency and coverage of fleece notwithstanding she is 12 years of age. She has a sweet disposition, first class mothering instincts and abundance of milk. She is a valuable asset to our small herd having provided us with Anna-Alpha's General (07), Misti Rose (08), Grazie (09) and Our lady Genevieve (10), all wonderful alpacas. We bred Gypsy in the Fall of 2010 to MFI Sacramento (ARI 838223). We have great expectations on her forthcoming cria.

  Huckleberrie
    Dark Brown, 819364, Bolivian

Great herdsire with excellent conformation and a lot of very dense dark brown to black fine fleece. He is covered in his high quality fleece from top to bottom. Over the past seven years he never produced less than 10 lbs of fleece. Huck has very good conformation and a strong head. He has fathered more than 30 crias to date in a variety of colors. Quite a few more to come this spring and fall of 2011.

Misti Rose, our first cria, brought joy and happiness to our farm. We name her after the volcano Misti at sunset, in Arequipa (Peru). She is an inquisitive, pleasant and personable alpaca who has found her place with ease among our female herd. She has great conformation, gait and gorgeous head. Her light fawn fleece has good luster, density, consistency and excellent coverage. We took Misti Rose to the MAPACA Jubilee show at Harrisburg, April 2009. She was honored with a Green Ribbon! We have great expectations for her future. We bred her last May to our MFI Sacramento. What a combination! We look forward to their cria in the Spring of 2011. Sell price includes a free breeding to any of our herdsires.
