| | | All we can say about Magnolia is WOW! She has all the attributes one is looking for in a true black female. First off Maggie is a non-fading fourth generation jet black proven female. She has a very pleasing phenotype with a full bonnet, coverage from head to toe, good bone capacity, density and crimp. Maggie was shown only one time and placed 2nd in a very large competitive class of 14 behind the color champion; not a bad place to be for her very first and only showing. She is also great producer of high quality true black offspring. Maggie's first born son, Amistad, won his very first blue ribbon in his baby fleece at just six months of age in a competitive class of 14 as well. | | | Velocity's offspring are taking the show string by storm and winning in the top of their classes with championships and several blue ribbons. At the 2009 AOBA National Show we showed his first offspring who went on to win a Reserve Championship in their very first show at just 8 months of age! His offspring are very impressive! They have correct conformation, presence, crimp, density and coverage not to mention long staple length and and abundance of fiber. We have looked very hard to find the next generation true black herdsire. We wanted a male that could compare to our multiple champion and champion producing true black herdsire, Dark Shaddow. Fiber Optic is out of our dam, Sweet Magnolia, whose last cria The Wiseman has done exceptionally well for us in the show ring, as has all her previous offspring. Fiber Optic's wonderful traits begin with a beautiful head, short muzzle, perfect bite, and a gorgeous full top knot.He has excellent coverage from the top of his head to his toe nails. His handle is buttery soft, with tight bundles of fine crimpy fleece. He also inherited his dams sweet disposition. He is the first to greet you when you come into the field and loves going into the barn with you to get his grain before anyone else. He is about the age of his brother, The Wiseman, when we purchased him at moms side. He has that same easy going personality we find to be such a blessing in handling and training.
