Accoyo's Goldsmith was a Color Champion himself when he was in the show ring. He is affectionately referred to as "Mike" and is a rare medium fawn full Accoyo male out of Accoyo Felix (now deceased) and Accoyo Aletha. He has been our signature herd sire here at Hiben Hollow and he consistently produces exceptional cria for our farm.
Goldsmith offspring are always the first to sell of our farm due to their high quality and excellence as foundation stock. Goldsmith daughters have been easy breeders, birthers and exhibit strong mothering instincts even as maidens with an ample milk supply. Goldsmith offspring also carry their fine, crimpy fleeces and typey style well into their breeding years. These are the reasons Goldsmith offspring are in such high demand.

We have named this very special boy after a very special man! Mr. Don Saffles was a breeder who had a heart of gold, and loved his family, his friends, and his alpacas! Don brought wisdom, joy, and love to Al and I. He was a wonderful friend and partner.
Don recently passed away, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all of those who knew him. (And adored him!) Don named his alpacas after family members who were very special in his life, so I would like to do the same, in his honor!
Mr. Saffles has Goldsmith, Felix and Titan in his background, which is greatly contributing to his square head, dense, crimpy fleece, square conformation, and a super sweet personality.
Keep your eye on Mr. Saffles! He truly is a very special boy!
