Duvessa is a true black out of outstanding blood lines. Her Dam (a Dom Lucilio daughter) took first place black color champion at the 2003 Southwest Regional Alpaca Show in 2003 over 20 black females from top breeding programs. Duvessa was selected for her dense fleece with wonderful brightness and handle.Her sire is Double O Good's black champion, Dark Knight, who was named grand champion at the New York Extravaganza in 2002 against formidable competition. Out of the Peruvian Camelot lines,his beautiful true black color and ultra fine, crimpy fiber are very difficult to find on a true black animal. Duvessa has delivered a beautiful true black boy sired by our bay black, 1/2 accoyo color champion, Express' Peruvian Winston. We were not disappointed with this little boy.
