We were looking for an another full Alianza stud to add to our herdsires and Andy saw this guy at auction. He wanted to buy him then but had already purchased girls and had no way to trailer him home. Well now he got him! Why was he so taken with Odessey? Well firstly he loved his look and handle. Secondly Odessey is the son of Andy's favorite full Alianza import 5 Peruvian Camelot. Camelot was the only plantel (proven) male ever imported. Other plantel males that were considered did not meet the fineness criteria but Camelot did! Amazing in a stud so dark. Camelot has thrown many maroon and black ribbon winners and we are hoping Odessey will carry on his father's tradition. He does seem to be throwing blue ribbon winners.
