While negotiating the acquisition of a new Bolivian girl, I learned of the availability of this 3/8 Bolivian female, and decided to add her to my herd. She is an exquisite female in her prime production years. Arria has a very sweet temperament and is very easy to manage (except for a tendency to pick up the supplement dish and fling it to keep others from touching it. I wonder if she realizes how much supplement she doesn't get because she's thrown it away!). While shearing her last summer, I found half a dozen black or dark gray specks on her sides indicating that Arria may be a color producer. Arria's 2011 cria turned out to be appaloosa, so perhaps she has enough spotting to be one herself! He's a lovely white male with a black muzzle and black speckles through his blanket fiber. He has his dam's excellent fleece structure and fineness, with a bit more density. He also has perfectly proportioned conformation, with nice bone density, and an impish nature that expresses itself joyously.
In 2013, Arria delivered another lovely male cria - this time white with black mascara around both eyes and a dark fawn spot on his back. He has excellent fleece structure and I believe he will grow very nicely to become a superior fiber producer and potential herd sire. I am very pleased at what Arria produces. Arria will be rebred to this year's guest macho, GS Accoyo Santo Domingo.
Arria comes with one additional free rebreeding.
