Steely is everything we had hoped for when we purchased her at Magical Farms Auction. When we looked at all the greys, we kept coming back to this gal. We fell in love with her fleece, density, crimp structure and presense.
She had an incredible femal in 2010 sired by MFI Peruvian Obsydian, her name is Savannah and is true black!! Her 2011 cria was MRAR Anka's Santana a beautiful LSG Male that looks like mom. (Took a blue ribbon in his first spin off). Santana has been sold is living in Indiana as a future herdsire.
Since Steely is our only grey on the farm, we are unsure if we want to continue to build a grey breeding program, so this is a tough one to sell or even consider selling.
Steely is full sister to MFI Peruvian Scimitar who stands on Magical Farms Herdsire Stud Row and is half sister to MFI Shaquille, owned by Flying Pony Alpacas purchased for $310,000.00 in 2005 at the Breeders Choice Auction. Her Sire is CPeruvian Silvio 106 IMPF98-MSG and her dam is NWA, LTD Sunshine-MB (Sunshine has passed away early 2011) also in her bacground is PPeruvian Leon-MF (LOVE THIS MALE) and The Silversmith HST-LSG
Since Steely was never shown, we immediately sent her fleece to fleece shows and are delighted with the results!!
