| | | BIG NEWS. Resolute is going to Canada.
Judge Jude Anderson described Resolute as having the "Wow fleece of the Show" at the Level V GWAS show & gave him Reserve Champ in a group of 98 white males. She commented that she'd never seen a fleece with so many crimps per inch (12-13!!). It's the closest to fine Merino fleece that anyone has ever seen.
Histogram at 26 months. 17.1 mic; 3.7 SD; 21.8 CV and 0.7% + 30. He has a mean curvature of 53.7 and a spin fineness of 16.
AND at 37 months, nearly a year after he began breeding 19.3 mic; 3.8 SD; 19.8 CV and 1.6% + 30. Just the adult fineness and unformity we're breeding for.

One of the pillars of our breeding program is sustainable fineness. Oberon is a poster boy for what we do best. He is the first cria from our fabulous Barnabus son, Xanadu P Resolute. Resolute has now been exporter to a breeder in Canada so he'll also be one of very few Resolute crias in the US.
He has the extreme fineness you'd expect from his pedigree, matched with good density, brightness and tiny crimps from his sire Resolute.
