"Tex" is the result of our four years of searching for "Mr. Black". We wanted a true black stud out of two black parents, with perfect bite, perfect conformation and uniform, high luster fleece.

He has the flat lock type we breed for, that yields the best fiber for processing. Most importantly, his fleece tests show the fiber to be very uniform, seen in the SD of 5; this is great news for his dark colored offspring!

We are thrilled to have found him, and have a very high degree of confidence that Tex will bring outstanding improvements to our suri color breeding program.

He is in great shape for the 2009 breeding season. He's healthy, vigorous and in top form. We offer drive-by breedings at the price of $500, working with local breeders to ensure female receptivity at the time of breeding.

Please contact us if you would like to learn more about breeding to Tex during the fall 2009.

Waldo is a complete surprise. He's out of a bay black dam, sired by High Voltage Vortex, and he's..... white! And what a lovely boy!

Waldo helped us to answer the question; "Where's Waldo?" Now we know! Waldo is the name of the oldest town in our county, dating back to the Gold Rush days of the 1850s. Now you know where Waldo is!

He comports himself with astonishing grace. He halters well, has a charming temperament and produces fine white suri fiber. He has just gorgeous conformation, and holds himself with such composure. We like Waldo really a lot!

If you'd like to produce white suri fiber for textile markets, perhaps Waldo could help you get there. At this price, you really can make money on this boy. Waldo could be your kids' favorite alpaca!

We also offer a Business Plan for a Non-breeding Farm for $250. If you'd like to see how the Business Plan works, we can help you run the numbers. Please ask us about the Business Plan for a Non-Breeding Fiber Farm.
