STR Amber Rose

Medium Fawn, 830525, 3/8 Chilean, 5/8 Peruvian

Amber Rose is a stunning girl with great conformation, bite, and wonderfully fine, crimpy, dense fiber with a beautiful luster and long staple. A daughter of SA Adagio, she also carries on the bloodline of The Silversmith. She is an easy breeder(her first breeding got her pregnant!)and an excellent mother with plenty of milk. First daughter, Autumn Rose, is even nicer than Amber, with wonderfully crimpy, dense fleece (she placed first in her class at the Mapaca Jubilee in 2005.)
This is one of our two best girls, and we have only listed her because we keep most of her daughters! STR Amber Rose won her last 2 ribbons while she was pregnant- not a minor accomplishment! Her fiber quality has remained fine and saleable into her 5th pregnancy. We bought Amber Rose as a weanling, and the seller later tried to acquire her first offspring. :)

Amber's 2nd cria, sired by Mr Sundance Kid- is a gorgeous girl, Sundancer, the same color as her sire, with curly, lustrous fiber. We wer

  Mr. Sundance Kid
    Medium Brown, 826016, Full Peruvian

A grandson of Accoyo Leon and son of a solid dark rose gray dam, Sundance carries great genetic promise. He has solid, correct conformation, heavy bone, and very dense, crimpy, lustrous fleece, in a gorgeous medium red brown. Sundance's fiber has a very soft hand, and for several years it was testing finer every year! His face shows his dam's color, dark rose gray, which we hope to see in his offspring. His son, Cinnabar, has grown into an indeterminate dark rose gray, and is now breeding!

Sundance's first cria was a gorgeous dark fawn girl, Sunset Fields Sundancer, from our own Amber Rose. Born 6/1/05, she was crimpy, lustrous, correct, and the same color as her sire. Healthy and vigorous, Sundancer's IgG was 2,900. She sold as a weanling.
His second cria is a handsome pinto boy born to RRA Fidel's Juno- he has absolutely stunning fleece, and perfect conformation and bite. Third cria is another Sundance clone, without the markings. Sundance is consistantly passi

This pretty girl is out of our best dam, STR Amber Rose and Peruvian Mr Sundance Kid, who has winning fleece characteristics. He has passed those genes down to Sundancer, along with his solid bone and frame. She has beautiful fiber in a rich dark fawn. This is the second time we've done this breeding, since the first girl turned out so beautiful and pleasing! This maternal line produces lots of pretty girls, and we have a hard time putting them on the sales list. Sundancer sells with a free breeding to our El Nino's Accoyo Iago, a 30 day live-birth guarantee, and a fertility guarantee.
Sunny is staying small, looks like she is going to be a petite girl. Maybe I should start breeding miniatures! She has beautiful, bright, fine fleece.
We just marked Sundancer down- need room in the barn for spring crias!
She was very receptive this spring, and we will breed her with the herdsire of your choice.
