Lanark's Latte

Medium Brown, 802816, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

| | | Latte stands out in the field; she has that 'presence' that she passes on to her offspring, probably inherited from Pizarro. Actually a dark rose gray, Latte had a gorgeous light rose gray cria in 2003- our blue ribbon Rosado! The next year's cria was her 4th girl, maroon Pacabelle, with great conformation, nice bone, and a fine, dense fleece. In 2006 we got a beautiful fawn daughter, sired by our Houdini, see Pretty Penny... Her 2007 cria was another striking MRG male sired by Houdini, named Cadillac. Latte's 2008 breeding slipped, and we will be rebreeding her in June.
Lanark's Latte is a good production female, and a wonderful mother with a ton of milk- one year she took on an orphan along with her own cria, and succesfully raised both! She still has fine fleece with a soft hand, and a nice crimp to it; Lanark's Latte is one of our best girls. | |

Knight of Camelot
| |
True Black, 833858, 5/8 Chilean, 1/4 Peruvian
| | | Knight of Camelot has perfect conformation, heavy bone, a good bite, and a wonderful, soft hand to his fine, very bright, uniform black fleece. He placed 2nd in a huge class at the 2003 MAPACA Jubilee, behind the color champion, and he nearly claimed Reserve Champion. The judge put him in the middle of an alpaca sandwich, and agonized over her decision for Reserve Champion. Knight of Camelot is producing sturdy, healthy crias with fine, high frequency crimp, brightness, long staple length, and with that special presence and carriage that does so well in the show ring. His wonderful temperament and exemplary breeding behavior make Knight of Camelot an outstanding stud who is passing on prizewinning black genetics to his progeny, in addition to his beautiful face that he passes on consistantly! Camelot is a proud grandfather several times over, passing down his long staple length, bright, dense fleece, and correct conformation- his shown offspring consistantly place in the ribbo | |
