Accoyo Mayflower of Alpavo

White, 30359086, Full Peruvian

Accoyo Mayflower is exactly what you would expect her to be based on her lineage. She has incredible dense crimpy fine fiber, excellent coverage, and beautiful conformation. She is a full Accoyo blend of Caligula and Vengador genetics.

Her dam, Accoyo Safflower, was purchased at Pacific Crest's Parade of Champions sale. Safflower is the daughter of Caligula and Sajoma, Pacific Crest's first choice in the '95 importation. Mayflower's sire is Vengador's Accoyo Robinson Crusoe owned by Flying Pony Alpacas and Always Accoyo Alpacas. He is a very dense, typey Accoyo hersire with bright, high character fleece like his sire, Vengador.

Mayflower is at the very beginning of her reproductive career. She delivered her first cria out of Accoyo Pinachi, in the summer of '08 and proved herself to be an excellent mom. Her delivery was problem free. She had plenty of milk and her cria, Sunflower Girl, continues to grow fast and strong.

Mayflower's fleece is exquisit

  SA Avenger's Accoyo Invasion
    Beige, 1390230, Full Peruvian

With 8 championships & 16 blue ribbons, Invasion is one of the top full Accoyo colored herdsires in the country. With his 2008 set of Ideuma Creek cria entering shows for the first time, it has become clear that Invasion is passing on his elite fleece characteristics to his offspring. Invasion is adding outstanding crimp, color, density, brightness & well respected lineage to his cria.

As evident from his own show record, judges around the country agree that Invasion is an elite alpaca. Now statistics from his recent skin biopsy test support his caliber of fleece. In addition his first Ideuma Creek cria are doing outstanding in fleece shows. Using all of the tools available, Invasion keeps proving time & time again that he is a superior herdsire.

If you're looking to add density, consider Invasion's skin biopsy report done by Ian Watt:

Add Elizabeth Tilley to the list of cria we've produced here at our farm that we're increidbly proud of! She's got FLEECE - lots of dense, crimpy, bright fleece all over her body, &especially all over her face. We worry sometimes she can't see! This girl has it all going for her - the best of the best Accoyo genetics of Royal Fawn, Caligula & Vengador, a typey build & look, good size & did I mention FLEECE?

Even prior to weaning, we know this girl is going to be special. Her fleece shows separate bundling architecture all over her. She's consistent with this bundling & with zipper crimp, & she's very soft & bright.

The reason for this fleece - genetics, genetics & more great genetics! Tilly is a full Accoyo out of our 8X champion Accoyo Invasion. Vasi also has 16 blue ribbons to his name & the special coveted fleece awards of best brightness & judge's choice. Add Tilley to his list of elite fleeced cria - and there are many! They've racked up 20 championships, 3 best crimp awards and 6 best brightness awards. Invasion is definitely stamping those incredible fleece characteristics onto his cria. We fully expect Tilley to travel the same route as her most acclaimed paternal siblings. Tilley's dam is an absolutely beautiful Caligula and Vengador grandaughter. You can bet we're repeating this breeding! We'd LOVE to get another cria just like Elizabeth Tilley!

UPDATE - Tilley took a blue ribbon at her very first halter show. At just 10 months of age, Tim Lavan awarded her a first place ribbon & commented on how fine, dense & crimpy she was with excellent conformation & extreme brightness.

UPDATE - Tilley is now a COLOR CHAMPION! At her first fleece show, Tilly got the blue & the championship!!

Judge's Comments:

"Fine fleece" - Laural Shouvlin
"Excellent brightness" - Jude Anderson
