Margeaux is a nice medium fawn female whose first two cria have earned her the designation “foundation quality.” Her first, a fine-fleeced tuxedo grey female out of Magic's Talon won a blue ribbon at her first show, the North American Alpaca Show, this past fall. And her second cria, a gorgeous dark rose grey out of medium fawn Chase Tavern Estrada, is our own Joe (Giuseppe), a real head-turner who has been very successful in the show ring in the early going, winning blue and red at his first two shows, both Level V events. Margeaux just has her third cria, a stylish dark fawn male whose fleece showed strong character from day 1.
Margeaux has been bred to our awesome AOBA Reserve Champion brown herdsire, Legacy de Oro, for a July 2012 cria. We expect a darker colored, fine, dense, and typey cria out of this pairing.
