Fiorenza of PVA, son of Kobe & grandson of two-time Futurity Herdsire of the Year, Mahogany Prince, has it all! This is one of the males we have chosen to breed our Captain Morgan females to. A full Peruvian and full 4th generation suri on both sides of his pedigree, "Fio" has the genotype AND the phenotype to qualify for our breeding philosophy - breed the best to the best to produce the next generation, always striving for that "perfect alpaca"!!
Fiorenza exhibits exceptional luster and carries a uniform, wavy lock with good density. A very soft fleece with a silky handle and that "greasy" feel, it just begs to be touched! Fineness and that soft feel in blacks don't typically go hand in hand - that is what drew us to Fio in the first place.
Fio has 39 cria on the ground, all suris, with 32 of them being darker then medium fawn! In addition, 15 of them have been black. If your breeding program dictates dark colors and SURI crias, check out this boy. As with all suri b
Daphne is an exceptional young female ready to start carrying on her dam's production record. Dama Lustrar, her dam, passed away when Daphne was just 3 months old. But, having a birth weight of just 11 lbs., Daphne weighed 41 lbs. at 3 months of age when we lost her mom and wouldn't take any bottle or supplement! She has thrived from day one and is a testament to her dam's nurturing and mothering traits.
Dama, her dam, produced 11 cria in her lifetime, 9 of them being females. The females have proven the heritability of good milk production and mothering qualities. We expect Daphne to be no different.
Daphne has a very bright fleece with tiny pencilling and good locking and staple length. Very straight conformation complete her package.
Lily of the Valley, her 2011 daughter, is included with Daphne's purchase. Lily is a light fawn with nice luster and a very silky feel. Her sire, Rasta Man, is a Captain Morgan son who is proving to be a nice addition to our herdsire offerings!
In addition, the purchase of these 2 girls will give you the opportunity to breed either/both of them to any of our proven herdsires for an $1,000/each breeding. Or, if you choose to breed them to one of our up and coming junior herdsires, breeding fee is reduced to $500/each with your purchase.
