My Contesa

Medium Brown, 1255621, 1/4 Chilean, 3/4 Peruvian

Contesa is a well built alpaca with good conformation, good body and leg coverage, crimp and gorgeous color. She is more maroon than your usual Medium Brown.

She can brag about her genetic background which displays Peruvian Drambuie, Peruvian Accoyo Capitan and PPeruvian Accoyo Camilio. Style and bold crimp of the Accoyo line mixed with the rich color from the Chilean influence.

Contesa has produced the best crias on our farm, including President James, our up and coming fawn herdsire and blue ribbon winners OLWA Callisto and OLWA Cutlass.

She is bred back to Reserve Color Champion herdsire Derwydd Francisco's Anka for a July 2011 cria. Anka brings the heritage of 5Peruvian Royal Inca Legend 9058, Aladdin of KPR, and 6Peruvian The Saint 5009IMPR98. We chose Anka to bring fineness to Contesa's already dense fleece.

Contesa has been also been recognized at the 2 shows she was presented at. She won 5th place in a large class at the Ohio Alpacafest Fall '0

We have been very fortunate to get boys that have been top quality and Quasar is no exception. He is a BIG, gorgeous blue-grey herdsire whose fleece is dense, crimpy, bright and FINE. He stands very tall and stately. We have been very proud to walk into the showring with this male. He took Reserve Champion at 10 months old, the youngest in the class, and judged by Mike Safely. Safely stated that his fleece was "at least" 6 microns finer than any other alpaca in the championship class. Quasar has been a busy boy and has many breedings lined up. So far he has 14 females and 6 males on the ground. Just look at a few of his crias at the right. We are so excited about more crias arriving this year!!!

Quasar's sire, Shaquille, sold for $310,000 at the 2005 Breeder's Choice Auction. This is a great opportunity to get this lineage at an incredible price. With the genetics of Shaquille, Peruvian Leon, Quicksilver, and Silvio,

All we can say is DENSE, DENSE, DENSE! The crimp and density he is showing at this young age is incredible. Cutlass stands straight and tall and walks with confidence.

Cutlass is dark brown with black points. He is a stunning looking male. He brings together the genetics of 5Peruvian Quicksilver, PPeruvian Leon and Shaquille and of course, our grey herdsire, Quasar.

Cutlass will begin his breeding career this spring! This is your chance to own a great male at a special price.
