| | | Tyra is the product of the Maple Brook Farm breeding program. She is 1/2 Accoyo, a daughter of Accoyo Felix, one of the top Accoyo herdsires in the country, and Lupita, a Peruvian import owned by Maple Brook Farm. Tyra was purchased pregnant, so we haven't shown her, although she has a long list of show winning brothers and sisters born to the Maple Brook family.
All her crias were delivered completely on her own in the pasture at roughly high noon.
Tyra's first cria, "Princess", sired by Andre (Bueno's award-winning son), now resides at Snowmass Alpacas in their foundation herd. | |
