BHA Peruvian Heavan's Hope

Light Fawn, 1086911, Full Peruvian

Hope has dense, soft light fawn fiber. On shearing day her fiber attracts the most attention with "Oohs and Aahs" as the blanket is rolling off her. It is absolutely beautiful.

Hope is a sweetheart. She is not aggressive except when someone is challenging her for her grain dish or when the water hose comes out on a hot Summer day. She loves her grain and she loves to be sprayed.

June 1, 2010 Update: Hope gave birth to a healthy, sturdy beige female cria, Sahara. Sahara's sire is HP Lockhart. Sahara's parents have definitely passed on their fiber density.

2008 GET-OF-SIRE, NIAE

Lockhart is a handsome herdsire with very exclusive genetics which are new to the U.S. He originates from Canada and is one of only a handful of breeding age male off-spring in the U.S. from HFL Super Sam, a renowned Canadian male who has received numerous first place awards and continues to produce off-spring who dominate their classes at shows and have earned Super Sam 14 Get-of-Sire awards. Lockhart has dark fawn, dense fleece with consistent frequent, crisp crimp. He has impeccable, well-balanced proportions and conformation, with perfect movement and style (judge's statement). As if this weren't enough Lockhart has a calm, easy disposition which will surely impress you.

Lockhart has shown the ability to produce a full range of color. He has produced white, beige, fawns, dark silver grey, medium rose grey, medium and dark brown, black, and pattern. In addition to color he is consistently passin

Sahara is a robust young female who carries an excellent amount of fiber with great coverage. Her soft beige fiber is fine and dense with great staple length, good brightness and character. She has excellent conformation and has been healthy since birth.

Sahara has outstanding genetics with Camilio and Microsoft on her dam's side and Super Sam and HP Lockhart on her sire's side. This is a genetic combination not commonly found. Sahara will be an excellent addition to any alpaca herd.

Update 6/27/14: Sahara gave give to a healthy, vigorous dark brown male this morning. His name is NCA Fletcher. Sire is the Casanova Kid. See photos attached. Sahara is proving to be an excellent first time mom. Attentive with lots of milk for her very active little boy.
