Panache's Antoinette
White, 834200, Full Peruvian
Antoinette is one of our foundation females. She is out of Mister Antonio and Angelena - one of our other foundation females, who has since passed away. Antoinette is also a a Hemingway granddaughter, and passes on his fleece characterstics to her offspring! She has a very dense fleece, with low amplitude, high frequency crimping. She has great conformation and wonderfully strong bone structure, which she has passed on to every cria she has produced.
She presented us with Serene Selene (Selene's sire was Titan from Magical Farms!) in the spring of 2005, a beautiful white cria with an incredible fleece in all categories, who has multiple ribbons, including blue, under her belt!
In 2007, she produced a multiple ribbon winning young boy. Most recently, she produced Henry the VIII, a very handsome male cria with densely bundled, high frequency crimp out of multiple blue ribbon winner Xanadu Peruvian Furst, an incredibly dense white stud with excellent staple length and c
Xanadu Peruvian Furst
White, 1430196, Peruvian
Furst is an exeptionaly dense macho with a shearing weight of just under 10 pounds in 2006 (at 2 years), and a shearing weight of 11.6 pounds this year. Furst took the blue ribbon at the Buckeye Show this May, and Judge Jill McLeod said his "conformation was excellent" and an "amazing staple length" (at 5 1/2 inches). He just received the blue ribbon at AlpacaFest- showing in the mature class, as well as a blue in the Spin-Off competition. Furst has a commanding presence and superior architecture with a bold crimp. His first crias have arrived and we are excited with the results- passing his crimp, coverage and presence to his offspring. This Caligula and Felix grandson is ready to serve your girls.
Henry the VIII is another Champion white male in our herd. This guy has a solid frame, with completely correct conformation and excellent bone. He has some of the densest fiber in our entire herd. His fleece has all the traits you could ask for. Besides that super density, he has great brightness, superior bundled, zipper crimp, with a wonderful handle and terrific staple length. The photos of his fleece have not been retouched - his fiber is actually brightly pearlescent!
His father is Xanadu Peruvian Furst, a multiple blue ribbon winner - no small feat in the white classes. Henry also has Caligula, Presidio and Hemingway in his family tree, with Mr. Antonio as a grandfather. This genetic heritage is strongly present in Henry, and is being reflected in his fiber stats and the 16 ribbons he has earned in his show career. He has placed in the top 3 in nearly every show!
In our opinion, our success in white animals is not only derived from selecting strong studs to breed to, but is also due to the use of a very special line of females that we credit with bringing as much to the table as the herdsires. We believe that this results in a double-loading of the genetic pre-potency of their offspring, so that no matter which side of their genetics gets passed on to their cria, it will result in strong conformation, density, fineness & crimp.
Henry joined our herdsire row in 2010, and we are offering an initial breeding price of $500 for him, along with a multiple breeding package discount. This price includes a female cria guarantee! His stud fee is very reasonable for a stud who is a complete package in terms of fleece & conformation, and has the show record to back it up!
