This full Alianza female is a half sister to fleece AND halter Champion: Antonio's Alianza Salute and a full sister to Bravado's Alianza Sailor - Champion at the world's first Alpaca Maturity! If you have seen either of those males, nothing else need be said.
The focus at Sixth Day Farm has always been on developing a genetically predictable herd of alpacas with superior textile traits - alpacas that pay their way with the fiber they produce. As a working farm, showing and marketing have taken a back seat to alpaca care and genetic progress. This means that you will find tremendous value here for the price.
Yes, we should have more recent photos... Come and see her for yourself!
It was decided that Sixth Day Farm could not afford to sell this girl at ANY price, so she had been listed in the foundation herd. Now being offered for the first time.
Franklin's Liberty
White, 30400160 , Full Peruvian
Liberty is a son of Accoyo Franklin out of our classic Alianza dam NWA Ltd. Louise. He has a very typical Alianza/Accoyo look and fleece character. Talk about small bundles and high frequency crimp! Better photos will go up when the weather changes. Come and check him out. Better still, look at the the offspring he has produced.
We have results of skin biopsies on Liberty sent to both Dr. Evans and Dr. Watts. They show unbelievably good results, better I am willing to bet than any male for sale in the US today. Let me know if you can find a white male for sale with better biopsy results than his. I publish them here with hesitation as some readers may think they are exaggerated!
Liberty had skin biopsies evaluated by both Dr. Norm Evans and Dr. Jim Watts ====Follicles per sq. mm==S/P Ratio= Watts....... 70.7 .............. 11.2 Evans....... 99.0 ............. 12.9
The micron count of his PRIMARY fibers was only 22 microns. Secondary fibers averaged

A super-typey guy with strong bone, 'boxy' proportions, and abundant fiber!
Prefer to sell half-interest. OR will reduce price in exchange for seller reserving a package of breedings to Star Spangled. CALL for details.
Star Spangled catches your eye with his typey, 'show ring' good looks. He has the fiber coverage on his head and legs that reminds you of a white teddy-bear. Deep muzzle, 'heavy' bone, with a solid 'boxy' frame...and the fleece!
Fleece - This guy's fleece is DENSE. High amplitude, high frequecy, '3-D' crimp. Independant staples of ultra-fine fiber. BRIGHT!
Sire - Franklin's Liberty has the DENSEST fleece on record - measured by both Dr. Jim Watts and Dr. Norm Evans: (over 111 follicles/sq mm - Evans). Call for copies of the biopsy results and sorting records by Carrie Hull, Certified Sorted (TM). A leg injury as a youngster kept this boy out of the show ring, but he is imparting his density, fineness, and flashy crimp to his crias.
Saphire - Another 'jewel' of the Sixth Day herd, Saphire is a showy daughter of Bravado. Her dam family line is remarkable for the 'architecture' of the fleece: dense, with small, solid staples and well-defined high frequency crimp.
