Hillarie is one of the finest Hemingway daughters in the land. Her dam was one of Northwest Alpacas' most successful show animals back when NWA was dominating the show ring. Her fleece exhibits exquisite high-frequency crimp and is exceedingly fine, with a MC of 20.5 in her fifth year. It's the combination of fineness, great crimp and density that won her Reserve Champion (behind our Deli's Delicacy) at the AFCNA National. And she is as dense as any Hemingway offspring we've seen. Hillarie's first cria is an Accoyo Poseidon son. We've had high hopes for him, since he carries genetics from two top offspring of Caligula and Hemingway, and he hasn't let us down. His amazing fleece took first place in the White Yearling Males class in the AOBA Fleece Show. Now Hillarie has given us a Snowmass Perfection son. He's bound to be superfine since his sire had a MC of 14 and his dam 15. We don't mind getting males out of this superdense, superfine, crimpy female.

Perfection is here! We are so happy to put a male of this calibre into our breeding program. He is a show winner at the National level. He is producing show winners; for example, his progeny swept the juvenile white and beige female classes at AWE 2004...first, second and third! He has won Get of Sire. He won Breeders best Three! And also Bred and Owned for Snowmass! His mother Snowmass Wedding Pacabells, a Don Julio daughter in the Alianza line, is a Futurity champion. His father is Accoyo Legacy, who is now the $1.5 million male! That makes Perfection an Alianza/Accoyo mix..the best of the best.
For us Snowmass Perfection represents everything we like in a huacaya. Our co-owner Jude Anderson judges thousands of alpacas all over the US and overseas every year.
