| | | Pookie is an absolute clone of her mother, A.L. Paca's Graytitude. Her father is the Futurity winning Commanche. With both parents being gray, we knew we'd keep her withing a month of her birth. She is a compact densely fibered girl with great coverage and straight conformation. Her mother was shown only three times and took a Reserve Color Champion banner, a first, and two second place ribbons. Pookie has been a slow grower and will be ready to breed this year, so we may or may not show her. We do have Gray Expectations for her though!
Pookie is now bred to Hollywood's Paparazzi and due in July '07

| | | Paparazzi is producing an astounding number of banner winning offspring. His offspring have earned banners in LSG, MSG, Modern DRG (2!), and Beige (2!) Countless Blues too!
Paparazzi is the ONLY animal to beat A of O Silver Celebration TWICE!
This gorgeous boy is the top winning son of Hollywood and grandson of Accoyo Augusto. Talk about sheer royalty! His maternal grandsire is PPPeruvian Guellermo. His dam Chelsea has taken a 2nd and 3rd in huge produce classes at large national shows. Her offspring have all taken blues and many have taken Champion banners at shows. Paparazzi has had a very impressive show career himself including many blue ribbons and Reserve Champion banners in both fiber and halter shows. Check out his fiber at 19.4 microns with a CV of 21.1%. The evenness of his almost pink fleece and absence of a tuxedo make him an unusual rose gray. His luster is so bright he took Best Brightness at 2006 Empire Alpaca Fleece Event! (That's over ALL fleeces ent

I don't usually list my own animals here on my site and have been ambivalent about selling Promise but my husband says everything should have a price so we are putting her up here. I have her service sire already picked out but if she sells and the buyer chooses differently that's okay too. We've been using Paparazzi for most of our breedings over the last five years and Promise is the oldest we've managed to keep yet. They ALL sell, and sell like crazy. Hence, it won't break my heart to keep Promise in our foundation herd.
Promise is a "Robust and stylish female with a proportionate frame and very good conformation, tracking correctly..." (Buhrman, MAPACA 2011) She has "Uniformity in architecture and nice density with fineness, relative to that density, the finest in the class" (Klay, VA Classic 2011). "This female standing as color champion is fine with uniformity in both micron and character throughout her fleece with great capacity and bone on a correct frame" (Humphreys, SAFONA 2010.)
There's that genetic consistency again... Two banner winning sisters, two banner winning brothers, at least a dozen blue ribbon siblings, yada, yada,.... This girl will do very well for anyone looking for serious production quality in gray!
We plan to breed Promise to our Express' Magnificoyo, who is throwing gray. His first son, Sunrose Coyo's Noble Savage is a classic LRG male who has taken three blues and a red as a juvie to date. His first daughter just took a Reserve banner in VA in White as a juvie! She has sold already. We will hope for a half accoyo gray cria again like Savage. Given Promise's background of gray parents, gray grandparents, etc... she carries some serious gray color in her background. Just check out her wonderful show winnings posted below!
5/2/11 Promise did it again at the Northeast Expo, beating the female she took the Reserve to at MAPACA. There were not enough animals at NE for a banner. Jude Anderson raved about her frame, proportion and typiness.
