Maple Brook Emilie is the highest-end female we have ever had at High Meadow. And we have some very nice ones; but she is in a class by herself. Out of the highly respected Maple Brook Farm, she is a top daughter of the world-famous PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, the top selling $600,000, full- Accoyo herdsire, co-owned by Double 'O Good Alpacas and Maple Brook.
In fact, Mike Tierney states, in the 2006 National AOBA Auction catalog- "... (she is)the best Royal Fawn daughter born on our farm to date." At the time of the auction she was only nine months old and destined for greatness in the show ring. At every show she attended there was a line of people waiting to look at her fleece! Her fleece is very bright, with fine, high frequency crimp. Her micron count, in 2006, was a stunning 16.2 3.6 22.2 0.7 and in dark fawn!

A top Jericho son and paternal brother to Peruvian Jeremiah - the four time "Herdsire of the Year" in the past four All American Futurities!!
High Meadow's Peruvian Pandora (Royal Fawn/Jeremiah)
Pandora is the latest beauty to arrive out of our top female, Maple Brook's Emilie- a gorgeous daughter of PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, one of the alpaca industries best herdsires (who sold for $600,000). Emilie was purchased by us in the 2006 AOBA Auction for $45,000 and went on to win multiple championships. Mike Tierney of Maple Brook said "..she is the best Royal Fawn daughter born on our farm to date". Emilie's micron count was an astonishing 16.2 3.6 22.2 0.7 and as a dark fawn!
Emilie has already given us two producing herdsires in her first two cria- Bueno's Tai-Pan and last years Jeremiah's Peruvian Jay Gatsby who already has received five purple banners and won a 2011 AOBA National's First Place ribbon just last month. Pandora is the result of Emilie's breeding to Peruvian Formula One, the 2008 All- American Futurity Reserve Male Fawn Champion and a top Magical Farms herdsire out of Peruvian Jericho. He is paternal brother to Peruvian Jeremiah who has won "Herdsire of the Year" awards at the All- American Futurity in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.
Pandora is the best girl ever born on our farm, and was offered for sale in the 2011 Prestige Alpaca Auction on September 10, 2011. Prior to the auction, we had an independent judge there tell us she was the best girl in the auction, followed by similar comments by several other top farms there whose opinions we respect. We quickly raised our reserve minimum to a higher level each time, and were actually pleased when she did not meet the reserve price, though her top price was one of the highest at that auction! Afterwards, we had two offers to sell her for a higher price.
She was only entered in a few shows but received SIX CHAMPIONSHIP BANNERS AND FOUR FIRST PLACE ribbons!!! She is ready to be bred and we are just deciding on a stud. Like her mother, she could be a foundation female that could put your breeding program high on the map!
