ALLAA Soleil   

Light Brown, 31131360, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

Soleil is a gorgeous alpaca with phenomonally dense fleece. She has always been a ranch favorite with her darling cream colored face. Soleil has an abundance of spunk. Her fleece is remarkedly dense, crimpy and lustrous with an exceptional staple length.

According to the fiber mill processing her fleece, Soleil's fleece produced "very lustrous, soft, smooth yarn".


Soleil gave birth on May 27, 2011, to her first cria. Onstar and she produced a gorgeous little girl with very tightly curled fleece!

Onstar is a light fawn Hemingway Accoyo. This male's ancestry is primarily from Peru and Chile. He is a 175 lb. male with gorgeous dense fleece. Onstar is extremely dense from his head to his toes with a reddish brown color splash at the corner of each eye which makes him look like he has eye shadow on.

His fiber is wonderful. It has brighness, great crimp and extreme density. The processor at the fiber mill processing his fleece expressed that he is an extremely great alpaca, that he is a "keeper". She says his fiber produces wonderful yarn. Items made from his yarn recently placed 1st at the Merced County Fair. His fleece is a spinners dream; yarn is a knitter's/crocheter's fantasy.

Onstar's breeding career will begin in 2009. We expect great crias from him!

UPDATE: 2010 Onstar just settled his first three females...Molly, Soleil and Bandytta! Can't wait to see the crias they produce.
