| | | Enterprise cria... criated to amaze!
DRUM ROLL, PLEASE! Enterprise has now produced a true black full Accoyo son.
You should see his babies! You're gonna want to breed your girls to him--his cria are really extraordinary. And... they range in color from white to fawn to brown to bay black and now true black.
Forty-six months old on his 2011 shearing, medium fawn and only 0.7% greater than 30. Amazing! It's all about "lingering fineness" and he has just given new meaning to it.

We had searched far and wide to find a dark colored full Accoyo male to add to our breeding program; and it couldn't be just any dark Accoyo male. Our criteria were pretty stringent. Correct conformation was a given, along with a perfect bite; genetics had to be some of the best in the industry. His fiber had to be super fine but he had to have | |

Enterprise son... criated to amaze!
And amaze he has. This young male has already demonstrated that he knows what it takes to be top dog. He's confident and has a certain air about him. He struts around attempting to mount anything that won't move. As a result, the little girls have learned to spit at a very early age! This precocious behavior made it necessary to move him out of the co-ed pasture into the big boy pasture.
From the moment you lay eyes on Tyke you know he's something special... and so does he! His conformation is impeccable, he's got nice big bone, a beautiful head with a full topknot, and is as solid as a brick. His fiber has excellent density along with well-defined, high frequency crimp, organization and extraordinary fineness. His fleece almost has a reflective quality about it. Just take a look at his 2012 histogram results at a little over a year of age.
During a herd assessment done in December 2011, Wade Gease gave him above average marks for fineness, handle, brightness, lack of medullation, density and uniformity -- that pretty much checks all the boxes. He indicated that his fleece style is "merino" with high frequency, low amplitude of crimp and bundles.
His lineage is superb. On his dam's side you have Elite Maximus who, of course, is an Elite son, along with Caligula and Hemingway. With Enterprise as his sire, you have El Nino, Caligula and Vengador. No shortage of legends in his pedigree.
