| | | This is an impressive guy with great genetics - Caligula Great Grandsire thru Peruvian Mito on Dams side and Royal Fawn Grandsire thru Peruvian Montaro on Sire's side. Dense, dense fleece all the way down legs and 5 inch staple length with very good crimp (see photo), sheared 11 lbs this year. Red exhibits a very good bite, correct confirmation and has a calm personality.
We purchased Red from an owner who lived out of state and boarded him in Colorado. The former owner didn't show him or even take possition of him.
Red's crias are True Black, Dark Fawn and Medium Brown - so it appears that he allows color from the dam to come through. His first born true black son placed 5th at ABR's Fall Festival 09, in a very tough class of 14.
Our best females are from Royal Fawn and Caligula lines and so cannot be bred to Red. And we do not plan to breed our foundation girls any longer. So without anyone to breed him to we' like to sell him to someone who could use h | |
