Felicia is a gorgeous full Accoyo fawn female with impressive genetics. Her ARI pedigree is short and very sweet. Felicia's sire is the infamous fawn Accoyo import, Felix, sire to numerous champions and ribbon winners in all colors, including true black. Her dam is NWA LTD Accoyo Viola whose sire is Victor, another fawn Accoyo import who is highly regarded as one of the best Accoyo imports and who has also produced champions and ribbon winners in all colors, including black. Felicia's grand-dam is Peruvian Celeste, a white Accoyo import whose import records boast a ++ for density, a ++ for crimp, and the additional comment of, "excellent fleece".
With these kind of genetics backing her up, it is no wonder Felicia is such a beautiful girl. Her fleece is incredibly fine with a micron count of just 18.8 at two years of age. Not only is her light fawn fiber pleasingly soft, but her staple length is nothing short of incredible. Even with the bold crimp style Felicia's fleec
Elite, rare & colored full Accoyo genetics comprise our newest herdsire, Accoyo Zagot. Zagot is a COLOR CHAMPION with blue ribbons in both halter and fleece.
Elite - Zagot is a powerhouse of Accoyo genetics. He is a cross of 2 of the best Accoyo parents out there. His sire is the recently deceased El Nino, considered by many to be the best son of Caligula. El Nino was described by a prominent judge as "the perfect alpaca" and took the coveted title of All American Alpaca Futurity Herdsire of the Year in 05. Zagot's dam is Astillero, a 95 import who has clearly produced some of the best full Accoyos in this country - a full brother to Zagot, Francisco (4 time champion),Stratosphere (5 Blues), & Armando who stands stud at Hilltop Alpacas. Zagot's sire & dam have both had a tremendous influence on the national herd. We are anxious for Zagot to have such an influence on our own herd.
Rare - Zagot's bloodlines are about as rare as they come. He is a medium fawn full Accoyo
I know. I know. Jeter 3000 sounds more like a boy's name, and this cria, well, she's all girl. She was born (as you may have guessed) on the day that Derek Jeter from the NY Yankees got his 3000th hit. He is only the 28th major league baseball player to ever do this, and the first Yankee to do so. He not only hit this milestone on our alpaca's birthday, he did it with a HOMERUN and then went on to finish the game 5 for 5. That's pretty incredible stuff.
Our fawn Accoyo girl, Jeter 3000 is pretty darn incredible too. She has beautiful crimpy medium fawn fleece. She's cute as a button and is spunky and friendly. We think she'll grow into a beautiful alpaca.
Her lineage is all there. Her sire is our champion fawn El Nino son, PHA Accoyo Zagot who also has multiple blue ribbons in halter and fleece. Her dam is Accoyo Felicia, a Felix daughter and a Victor maternal grandaughter. She looks good already (even just being a few weeks old) and has the genetics and potential to be an important part of any serious colored Accoyo breeding program.
Right now we are offering a package of Jeter and her dam, Accoy Felicia (who is bred to Stratosphere for a summer 2012 cria) for $25K.
Included in Jeter's price is a breeding to the Ideuma Creek herdsire of your choice. Jeter is not related to our 8X champion, Accoyo Invasion who would add Royal Fawn or to our dark fawn Accoyo Cuba Libre who would add Express and Leon to the pedigree. Other up and coming options would be Accoyo Orinoco or Accoyo Covert Operation whose fleece took a Reserve Color Championship and The Best Brightness Award at his very first show. The hard choice would be deciding which one to breed Jeter to!
