| | | Bay Gracita is a deliciously dark Huacaya female out of Bolivian Black Thunder and Parika. Everyone knows that Black Thunder is one of the Blackest herdsires in the country, darkening the color of nearly every dam hes bred to and throwing nearly 100% dark-colored offspring out of roughly 300 crias. Black Thunder is also noted for his friendliness, and that of his downline as well. Parika is a beautiful black Chilean import with great fineness and that murky black fleece that is so desirable in our industry, and all of her crias have been black!
Bay Gracita is very friendly, like her sire, even allowing school children to pet her head when she was near due with her latest cria. Prior to this breeding, she had all female cria in shades of brown and black, and with excellent curb appeal. Her 2009 cria is male, and quite a looker, too! He is also black, and out of Peruvian Guellermo's Choco. A new herdsire in the making? We think so.
She is now being bred to the magni | |
